The Nest Daycare & Preparatory Center is a legacy entity that New Clark Temple (NCT) Church has incorporated into the overall vision for the ministry and its upcoming physical campus. The Nest Daycare & Preparatory Center is dedicated in honor of Mr. Willard Sparrow & Elder Bernice Spellman. Mr. Willard Sparrow & Elder Bernice Spellman both provided early childhood daycare centers and youth services for the young children and youth in the local community. The fruit of their labor in their individual churches and neighboring communities is one that will never be forgotten by the children and families that they faithfully served for decades. Our Founder, Minister Jessica C. Reid, had the opportunity to attend both daycare providers in the early years of her childhood development. It was through Minister Reid’s personal experience(s) at both daycare centers, Sparrow’s Nest Daycare and Spellman’s in-home Daycare, that she learned and was able to witness the importance of Christian education and training. Through those experiences, Mr. Willard Sparrow and Elder Bernice Spellman left a prominent legacy that continues to transform the lives of young children for the next generation of powerful leaders to emerge.
